If you use the Sendery plugin, connect your project and go to step 3.

For manual setup, open Claude Code in your app’s repository and run the command below. In Claude Code, run /mcp, sign in to Sendery, and select a project where you can edit templates.

Run this from your repository root. The skill helps Claude turn your emails into Sendery templates and connect them to your app.

Describe the transactional emails your app needs, or bring over existing emails. Copy this prompt and add what you want to build.

Set up Sendery for this application. Inspect the framework and existing transactional emails, then recommend the simplest compatible integration. For a new app, prepare the templates we need. For an existing app, follow my requested migration scope; if I have not chosen emails, summarize them and ask which to migrate. You may suggest starting with one for review. Validate and preview the drafts with sample data. Replace the old sending paths for migrated emails without adding on/off flags or fallback senders. Guide me through adding the sending API key to my local environment and deployment secrets without sharing it in chat or committing it. Explain your changes, tests, draft links, and any remaining setup or publishing steps.

Claude prepares editable drafts with sample data. Open AI Setup in your Sendery project to review them, or ask Claude to adjust the copy and design. You choose when to publish.

Claude can add the Sendery integration to your app. Create a project API key, add it to your app’s environment settings, and publish your templates in Sendery. Follow Send your first email to test the connection.

Your team can now update the templates in Sendery without editing application code.
